Experience the beauty and magic of Hallstatt, one of the most charming destinations in the world. Our holiday home offers two spacious apartments in the heart of the picturesque village of Hallstatt—just a few steps from the lake and the citycenter.
Each of our cozy vacation apartments at Hallstatt-Haus Elfriede accommodates up to four guests and offers a warm, inviting atmosphere. Whether you want to immerse yourself in the culture of the UNESCO World Heritage site, explore the majestic mountains, or enjoy the tranquility of the lake and pristine nature – with us, you’ll find the perfect starting point.
APARTMENT
August
Our apartment August on the first floor offers 62 m² of stylish accommodation for up to four people. With a 13 m² terrace and comfortable seating, it invites you to spend relaxing moments outdoors with a view of the greenery and the mountains.
The apartment includes:
- Two large bedrooms with comfortable beds (180 x 200) for restful nights
- Crib incl. bed linen and high chair on request
- Bedding, bed linen, towels
- A fully equipped eat-in kitchen – perfect for shared meals
- Starter pack: basic equipment with salt, sugar, pepper, vinegar, oil, coffee pods, tea bags, washing-up liquid, Wettex, washing-up sponge, dishwasher tabs, tea towels, kitchen roll, toilet paper, soap, shower gel/hair shampoo
- A modern bathroom with rain shower and hairdryer as well as a separate toilet for extra comfort
- Free WIFI
- 2 televisions, board games, books
- Breakfast service, delivered directly from the bakery (except Thursday and Sunday – upon request – see link in personal Guest Booklet)
- A storage room in the outbuilding, ideal for your skis, bikes and hiking equipment
- Free parking with e-charging station directly in front of the house

Adele
Our apartment Adele on the second floor offers 54 m² of comfort for up to 4 people for your feel-good stay in Hallstatt. This apartment impresses with a spacious balcony with a view of the mountains and cozy seating.
The apartment includes:
- Two comfortalble bedrooms with comfortable beds (180 x 200, 160 x 200) for restful nights
- Crib incl. bed linen and high chair on request
- Bedding, bed linen, towels
- A nice eat-in kitchen, fully equipped, for shared meals

HALLSTATT-HAUS ELFRIEDE
About us
In 2024 and 2025, the Hallstatt House Elfriede was lovingly renovated by Irene and Andrea. Tradition and modernity were skilfully combined to offer guests maximum comfort and a warm atmosphere.
The Hallstatt House Elfriede was built in 1959 by August and Adele, along with their daughter Elfriede. Nestled between the mountains and the lake, the building could share countless stories of:
- August, a Hallstatt original, who served the guests in his pension as “head waiter” in the Bräuhaus in a humorous and entertaining way,
- his wife Adele, a native of Vienna, who hosted vacation guests at Hallstatt-Haus Elfriede in the 1960s,
- and their daughter Elfriede, who worked as secretary at the woodworking school (now HTL Hallstatt) and always appreciated her Hallstatt roots.
The descendants Irene and Andrea have infused the spirit of their ancestors into the renovation. The newly renovated Hallstatt-Haus Elfriede, with its two apartments August and Adele, is very close to their hearts, and Irene and Andrea hope that their guests feel completely at home here.
